Deaton Creek offers all of this in a peaceful and friendly environment. The video below provides a narrated, visual introduction to what The Village at Deaton Creek has to offer, and the pictures and descriptions that follow provide a glimpse of the amenities and activities available to all residents. We hope to see you soon.

At Village at Deaton Creek, everyone can find friends and activities to
keep them just as busy and active as they wish to be, indoors or outside.

Our residents enjoy many activities in our clubhouse, including selecting a new book from our lending library.

It is also a great place to sit and relax with the morning paper.

In the main room of our clubhouse, residents can enjoy a card game or working on knitting projects with  friends--or just visiting.

In the art room, residents can work on their own projects, take classes or just get inspiration and  advice from each other.

The large workout room contains state of the art exercise bikes, rowing machines, treadmills, weights, balance equipment and more.  It is a popular space all day long, all year long.

The indoor pool is a great place for water therapy, exercise class, swimming laps, and laughing with friends while playing water volleyball.

Outside, residents meet their friends walking the wide sidewalks or enjoying the many trails.

There are short and long trails; there are trails that test your legs and trails that allow for easy walking.

Walking under the old growth oaks, poplars and other big trees is a favorite activity of many VDC residents.

In our downstairs exercise room, residents work on flexibility and core strength through classes in yoga, tai chi, aerobics for all levels, and dancing.

Residents enjoy special events in our large ballroom. We have dances, trivia contests, casino night, cooking demonstrations, and everyone’s favorite Tribute bands straight from Las Vegas - such as Alan Jackson, The Four Seasons and, of course, Elvis.

Many of our residents have played sports their entire lives and are excited to keep playing in their retirement years.
Others are amazed and happy to discover that they too are "sporty" people.

There are organized softball teams that play both fall and spring seasons.  And those who don't play enjoy bringing a lawn chair and rooting for their neighbors.

Pickleball is extremely popular at Deaton Creek.  Residents can take lessons to learn how to play, come to open play or engage in tournaments and round robin socials.  Our courts stay busy all day.

Tennis is also popular at Village at Deaton Creek.  We have open play three days a week, year round, many tennis socials, and both ALTA and USTA teams.

Bocce Leagues play spring and fall. Friends often stop by for a quick game. Bocce is also very popular with visiting relatives and friends.

And, if our residents want to leave the community, they can board a bus for a day trip together or a bus that will take them with a travel group to the airport for an organized trip somewhere in the USA or in another country.

We hope you will consider making Village at Deaton Creek your home, too.

There are no new homes being built, but resales are often available.  Ask your realtor to schedule an appointment to bring you into our community for a tour.
